What we build

iOS & Android apps
Consumer and B2B apps that feel native where users notice: gestures, startup time, and battery. One codebase when it saves you money, two when it saves the product.
Windows & macOS apps
Desktop software for the work that actually happens at a desk: capture tools, dashboards, admin consoles, and the tray utilities that quietly run all day.
Offline-first sync
Apps that work all day without a connection and reconcile the moment one returns. Conflict handling designed up front, not discovered in support tickets.
App store releases
Signing, review, staged rollouts, and crash reporting for the App Store and Google Play. We have been through review enough times to plan for it.
Companion backends
The APIs, push notifications, and admin panels behind the app, built by the same team so nothing falls between two vendors.
App rescue & modernization
An existing app with poor reviews, an aging framework, or a dead vendor behind it. We audit, stabilize, and modernize without losing your users.

How we build apps

Apps live or die on the first week of daily use, so that is what we design for: cold-start time, offline behavior, and the three screens people actually open. The showpiece features come after the fundamentals stop being annoying.

Like every Insetix project, app builds are fixed-price with weekly demos. From week one you have a build on your own phone through TestFlight or an internal track, not a mockup. Store submission is planned into the schedule, because app review is a dependency, not a surprise.

We choose between native and cross-platform per project, honestly. A field tool with heavy offline sync makes different tradeoffs than a consumer fitness app. Either way you get one senior team across the app and its backend, and you own every repository and account when we hand over.

Fair questions

Anything not covered here is a quick note to hello@insetix.com.

What does a mobile app cost to build?

Most app projects land between $25k and $80k depending on platforms and backend scope. The number is fixed in writing before we start, and stopping at any weekly demo means paying only for the weeks delivered.

Native or cross-platform?

It depends on the product, and we will tell you which and why on the scope call. One codebase where it helps, native where users would feel the difference. The recommendation comes with the reasoning, not just a preference.

Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?

Yes. Signing, store listings, review, and staged rollouts are part of the project, and both store accounts are created in your name from day one.

Can you build the backend too?

Yes, and usually we should. The API, push notifications, and admin dashboard come from the same senior team, so sync bugs cannot hide between two vendors.

Tell us what you're building.

Three sentences is plenty. Scope call within days, a written fixed-price quote 48 hours after it.
